Beautifully converted from the original 18th century calves’ barn. The Calf’s House self catering holiday accommodation is less than 1 mile from Polzeath beach and offers spacious holiday accommodation on one level.
The open plan layout ensures that there is plenty of space yet it retains a cosy, sociable feel. The fully equipped cottage is incredibly versatile, with an airy feel for the summer, but the wood burner making it nice and cosy on chilly evenings of to snuggle up in front of in winter.
With a south facing patio complete with bench and outside dining area overlooking the pool and the countryside beyond, this is the perfect spot for an evening drink or meal.
The Calf’s House holiday cottage is ideally located close to Rock and Polzeath making it a great choice for families and couples.

We’re more than happy to accommodate extra guests and we have camp beds and travel cots that can be added into either of the holiday barns. All the holiday barns are spacious even with extra beds and many families like to take advantage of this because with just a small extra charge to cover bedding costs they get to enjoy all the Mesmear facilities for quite a bargain!
Well behaved dogs are welcome in the holiday barns by arrangement.
